These little bookmarks are perfect for Thanksgiving, but they can also be decorated in different ways to work for a wide variety of occasions.
Each kiddo will need a square of paper and some scraps in different colors at minimum. You could also include eye stickers, washi tape, or any other flat material for decoration you desire. If doing this as a program, you’ll also need to provide scissors, markers, and glue sticks or tape.
To extend this activity, incorporate it into a program or story time about Thanksgiving. Talk about the myth surrounding the holiday and read or suggest some books that confront it.
